Rosendal Fjordhotel is beautifully situated by the Hardangerfjord. The hotel was built in 1971 by Alv Brede. Since its beginning and up to this day the hotel has been in the hands of private owners. Even though the hotel has been upgraded through the years, it has still kept its original pleasant atmosphere.

Since the start in 1971 we have redecorated and extended our bedrooms, restaurant and conference department. Increasing needs and demands of standard claims constant renewal. Rosendal Fjordhotel has always adjusted to the new times. Today the hotel has a total of 95 guest rooms.

Through the years the hotel has filled different functions as host for individual guests from our country and from foreign countries, merchants of all categories, course- and conferences, birthday parties, weddings and more. Our barbeque and shrimp evenings during Summer have become a pleasant tradition.

At Rosendal Fjordhotel we have ever since the very beginning looked upon personal service for our guests as a primary task.
