Kvinnherad Kyrkje from 1255 is one of the oldest middle age churches in the country. Kvinnherad Kyrkje is a stone church of roman and gothic style. The church is without a tower, and has beautiful steatite details in portals and windows. The altarpiece is from the catholic period before the reformation. The church bells are from the 1300- and 1400- centuries. The Barony was the owner of the church from 1678 and up to 1910. This is why the church has a private grave chamber for the Rosenkrantz family who were the first owners of the Barony.

From the middle of June till the middle August the church is open daily for guided tours. The distance from the hotel to the church is 20 - 30 minutes by walking.
