The managing director, on behalf of Rosendal Fjordhotel AS, is the data controller for the company’s processing of personal data.

We respect your privacy. The privacy statement intends to ensure that our customers/guests are aware of the information we store about them and how we collect these data.

Where do we get the data from

We store personal data that you or the travel agency/agent/firm have given us directly on the phone, by email, ordinary post, via the hotel’s website(www.rosendal-fjordhotel.no) or other websites the hotel uses, e.g. www.booking.com.

We process data about e.g. your identity, address and contact information and payment information/credit card information.

We also process other data provided by you or others on your behalf that are relevant to your stay/booking with us.

We register all purchases and bookings you have made with us, previous invoice details, details about the reservation (no of persons, room number, price, board code, number of nights etc.), food habits, disabilities and other information you provide in connection with your stay with us.

Information about your place of work, job title and employer may also be stored.

Obtaining personal data from others

To ensure that we have up-to-date and correct information about you at all times, we may check the information against other sources such as public registers.

Erasure of personal data

We retain data as long as we need it to complete your reservation, or in connection with sales and marketing aimed at you. You or your employer must inform us if you want your personal data to be erased.

We are obliged under the Bookkeeping Act (https://lovdata.no/dokument/NL/lov/2004-11-19-73) to store the data for up to five years.

Your rights

You have a number of individual rights pursuant to the personal data regulations.

You have the right to request access to, move, correct or erase the personal data we process about you.
